Beth David Congregation is known as Miami’s oldest congregation and “Pioneer Synagogue.” Founded in 1912, this place is a significant part of South Florida’s rich and meaningful history.

This historical landmark was initially named B’nai Zion after its founder Morris Zion. This stunning event place is where you can exchange rings and promises of a lifetime with your partner.

You can also host a lovely reception after the ceremony in one of Beth David’s magnificent event spaces. You can go for the Scher Chapel, a perfect spot for intimate and contemporary weddings. Another great spot is the Falk Sanctuary, a tranquil event space perfect for bigger weddings with a traditional theme.

This impressive event space holds up to 1,000 guests for weddings and other types of occasions. A highlight of the place is the bimah that is made out of Brazilian mahogany and the sanctuary’s ceiling that is embellished with ornate lighting.

Meanwhile, there’s the Spector Ballroom that is adorned with lush chandeliers and elegant interiors and built with a stage and a large dance floor perfect for a grand reception. Another event spot is the Traurig Hall that features arched ceilings, classy chandeliers, bridal suites and a beautiful balcony where you can witness the beauty of the place.

A great place for a picture-perfect wedding is the Beck Museum of Judaica where you can find Jewish artifacts, memorabilia and visually pleasing displays. The highlight of this place is the series of bronze panels designed by internationally acclaimed Italian artist Enzo Gallo.

Their multi-use event spaces can be customized to almost any reception theme or size. Beth David Congregation is staffed with a team of event experts who are ready to assist you in every step of the way. They will guide you in making the right choices especially when it comes to catering options, set up and other wedding essentials.

They have a constant goal to exceed client’s expectations and turn a simple wedding into a memorable and beautiful event. Apart from being a sought-after wedding venue, Beth David Congregation is also a place for conversion classes, intimate worship, social justice and social action.

The synagogue also welcomes other events such as Bar/Bat Mitzvah, bris & naming ceremonies, Shabbat dinners, memorial services, concerts, meetings, conferences and other kinds of celebrations. Beth David Congregation is true to its mission, and that is to inspire personal growth and offer lasting experiences to all of their clients and members.
